08/23/2010 - Detroit, MI (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Detroit Red Wings and left winger Justin Abdelkader agreed to terms on a two-year contract Monday.

Abdelkader, 23, appeared in 50 games with the Red Wings last season, recording three goals and six points. He also played in 33 games for Detroit's American Hockey League affiliate in Grand Rapids, collecting 11 goals and 13 assists.

The Michigan native was originally selected by Detroit in the second round (42nd overall) of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
